Flat Stomach Food, Diet and Nutrition
When it comes to changing your body shape, diet is 90% of the battle. Losing belly fat to get a flat stomach is no different.
You probably already know that it is unwise to avoid fat altogether, as it is an essential nutrient. You probably also know what sort of food is full of belly fat. So avoid the deep-fried and the confectionery.
Good fats are found in oils, nuts and seeds, avocado, olives and fish. These foods do not contribute to belly fat, but still make you feel like you have had a meal. The good thing about them is they are healthy.
You should also place some emphasis on reducing carbohydrate intake. This is because carbohydrates are an excellent source of energy, and energy = calories. Any calories that are not used = belly fat.
The best plan is to get enough of every food group i.e. fat, carbohydrate, protein and roughage. There are plenty of good reasons to have a healthy, balanced diet that have nothing to do with getting a flat stomach. However, if you eat properly, and burn more calories than what you eat, your belly fat will start to disappear.
Try to concentrate more on common sense than a fad when deciding what to eat, and how much to eat. A good rule is to stop eating when you think a couple more mouthfuls would fill you up.
